Piemonte dal Vivo Foundation is a Multidisciplinary Regional Circuit. In the jazz field, the foundation has strengthened its collaboration con gli enti locali e i soggetti attivi sul territorio.
Thanks to the partnership with the Consorzio and the support of the Fondazione per la Cultura di Torino, the Torino Jazz Festival Piemonte continues to grow, reaching its seventh edition in 2025 and further solidifying the region’s commitment to jazz and its cultural dissemination.
The slogan for the 13th edition of the Torino Jazz Festival is “Set the Music Free.” Dance to spirited performances by Il Ballo della Liberazione, Flamenco Criollo, Don Karate. Revel in virtuosity from pianists Moran, Iyer, Pieranunzi and Freitas; swing with Rava, Di Castri and Benjamin; rock out to Calibro 35 and explore global sounds from Bang, Kouate and Remigi. TJF unites the celebration of jazz’s liberating history with the excitement of new musical discoveries.
Arci Piemonte is the most prominent cultural association network in the Piedmont region. Its approximately 450 member associations promote social, educational, and recreational activities.
Born on the occasion of the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of Arci Torino, Jazz is Dead! festival is a project of Jazz Is Dead Aps, produced by Arci Torino and Magazzino sul Po, artistic direction and communication by TUM Torino. The result of a reflection on the life and evolution of the jazz genre – avant-garde and exploratory at heart – it has become in seven editions a point of reference for the national and international experimental and alternative music scene.
Too Young To Jazz is a festival organised by AICS in collaboration with the BuonoLopera Foundation, with the patronage of “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Turin and the association Laboratorio del Suono (Sermig). Set up in 2023 and directed by Fabrizio Leoni, its aim is to enhance young jazz musicians under 35, promote jazz as a cultural heritage and create a bridge between tradition and innovation.
ANCoS APS pone al centro persone e comunità con attività sociali, sportive e culturali rivolte a giovani, anziani e famiglie. L’Associazione organizza progetti di solidarietà e inclusione, coinvolge ragazzi nel Servizio Civile e sostiene concretamente chi è più fragile. La forza del volontariato e della partecipazione rende ogni iniziativa un’opportunità per stare insieme, crescere e migliorare la qualità della vita sul territorio.
Il Progetto della Casa del Jazz a Torino – Torino House of Jazz, intesa anche come area metropolitana, è quello di dare vita ad un luogo fisico che valorizza il patrimonio musicale jazzistico del territorio cittadino e regionale, facendo cultura ed aggregazione in zone diverse della città e della regione con una continuità annuale. Creare una “Casa del Jazz” sul modello di altre città italiane e straniere dove si possano raccogliere, condividere ed ampliare tutte le esperienze, gli stili musicali del jazz, grazie a concerti di jazz con artisti italiani di varia provenienza insieme ai musicisti jazz Piemontesi, dove si possa ascoltare e studiare il jazz, organizzare conferenze sulla storia di questa musica, dibattiti e presentare libri. Avere infine uno spazio per le “Residenze” di musicisti giovani e non, italiani o stranieri, anche in funzione di possibili scambi culturali con altri Paesi.
Fondato nel 2001, il Dipartimento Jazz del Conservatorio Statale di Musica di Torino Giuseppe Verdi offre oggi corsi accademici di primo e secondo livello (master di specializzazione) per tutti gli strumenti, integrando il percorso formativo con svariate occasioni di performance da parte degli studenti in rassegne e festival di rilievo nazionale e internazionale. E’ stato promotore nel corso degli anni di importanti collaborazioni e scambi con istituzioni americane quali la Wayne State University e la prestigiosa Juilliard School. Il corpo docenti annovera alcuni tra i più importanti strumentisti italiani.
The “Piemonte Jazz” Consortium is the regional network of associations and cultural entities that promote concerts, performances, cultural and educational activities aimed at the study and diffusion of jazz. A brand that brings together hundreds of partners representing the entire regional jazz industry, realizing productions and artistic residencies in national and international exchanges.
It has organized the “Jazz2Jazz” and “Jazz2Biz” forums, the “Torino Jazz Meetings”, various editions of the travelling festival “La Via del Jazz” and participation in “Expo Milano 2015”. It is currently the co-creator and main partner of the “Torino Jazz Festival Piemonte”, a festival that expands every year with a route of concerts and activities in all the provinces of Piemonte.
Piemonte Jazz” has participated in various editions of “JazzAhead” (Bremen-D), Rimouski Jazz Meetings (CAN), while publishing a compilation of its own productions entitled “A taste of Piemonte Jazz”.
